About GraceLynne

Welcome to GraceLynne Bags! This name comes from a combination of my daughters name (Grace) and my middle name (Lynne). I tried to figure out how to work my son in there, but Tiberius just doesn't have a light, happy ring to it!

For a decade, I was known as Rock Solid Designs, and it made sense when I started out - I was working full-time as a geologist and building this on the side. As time went on however, I connected less and less to that side of my personality, and so the rebrand reflects the shifts that have happened in my life over the last decade.

As a crafter, I understand the importance of keeping your patterns organized and accessible, and that's why I created Rock Solid Designs and GraceLynne Bags.

I am dedicated to creating a more elevated brand of yarn, pattern, and tool storage and organization. I believe that knitting and crocheting is not just a hobby but a lifestyle, and that's why I strive to create products that not only function but also look great and speak to our irreverent side. The Pattern Pocket is the perfect example of this - it's both stylish and practical, with its nerdy or profane fabric print and heavy-duty snap closure.
